Original Star Wars Comic Book Art by Cam Kennedy

Cam Kennedy's Star Wars comic book art turned out to be quite a revelation, lifting the subject matter in depiction and colour back to the levels that the first Star Wars movies had attained and deserved.

The Millennium Falcon battles with Slave-1, Boba Fett's space ship. Art by Cam Kennedy.

The sincerity of the pencils, inks and hand painted watercolours struck a note with Star Wars aficionados and seemed to revive a nostalgia, love and respect for the original Star Wars films.

Dark Empire One

The first Star Wars comic book by Cam Kennedy & Tom Veitch, Dark Empire One was set six years after the Battle of Endor. The story sees the return of all our favourites from the movies, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia, Lando, Boba Fett, R2D2, C3PO and the Millennium Falcon as the rebel alliance battle against the remnants of the old Empire. Featuring pencils, inks and full colour, hand painted art by Cam Kennedy.

Dark Empire Two

The second Star Wars book by Cam Kennedy & Tom Veitch, Dark Empire Two, finds Luke returning to Pinnacle Base at the same time as Darkside Executor Sedriss is going ahead with 'Operation Shadow Hand'. Sedriss and his ilk prepare to deliver the Empire's discipline to a renegade manufacturing world on the fringes of the Galactic Core. Cam Kennedy once again pencils, inks and hand paints the entire comic book.

Boba Fett

December 1995 saw the appearance of bounty hunter Boba Fett in his own comic book. Boba Fett is Cam's favourite Star Wars character to date. The first Boba Fett trilogy, written by John Wagner, proved to be a big hit with fans of Star Wars so much so that Cam went on to do a further two books on the popular bounty hunter, one written by John Wagner, the other by John Ostrander. John Wagner and Cam are looking forward to bringing to fruition further Boba Fett adventures.
